Cash agrees with William, tour the South without leaving home, but if your pup needs grooming see Anessa at Animal Care Center-she’s the best! She is also family thanks to a grandson. He will not be at Fairpark but the wood trays will.

FINAL SHOW
If you've ever wanted a genuine hand made state tray or a Solo caddie or a sturdy ornamental birdhouse/church for your front porch, you need to come down to Fairpark next Saturday, May 9. That's because the Mississippi Marketplace will be our last showing. Look for the green canopy. We enjoyed it but we enjoy our quiet lives at home with our critters more. We will still play in the shop with critters nearby.

82. That's how many days we have until Christmas. William is in the shop with his Santa Claus suit on making Christmas gifts for a few special people. He still has a couple 7.5 pound church decorative birdhouses and outhouse birdhouses for sale. He will add He Is Risen tombs soon. These are keepsakes people enjoy. We still have some state (not just Mississippi) trays, cup caddies, Mississippi candles, crosses, mosquito houses. Let us know if you are interested. I have pretty much donated all of my little happies and on to other projects, except for the Tupelo Elvis and Dogs items. We stopped showing but we are still around.

Mother's Day weekend - Saturday, May 10 at Mississippi Market at Fairpark. We had decided to stop loading up and leaving our critters at home to spend the day as a vendor but Mississippi Market changed our minds. In addition to the hand-crafted wood products, we have quirky animals that bring a smile on a lot of useful items. We would surely explode if we could not create fun things. The 7 1/2 pound (yes, seven and a half-pounds) decorative church birdhouse would please any mother for Mother's Day-only a few left. And with every purchase we have a gift that we purchased to share. Come see us.

We have birdhouses, Mississippi wood candles and state trays that make great Mother’s Day gifts. Lots of new Tupelo and Elvis items along with the quirky critters making their debut. We also are giving a free happy with purchase. Great location. Plenty of parking. Lots of vendors and food trucks.

We will be there. Hope to see you.

Instead of Easter lilies to give your mother or someone special for Easter and Mother’s Day this year, give the gift to be enjoyed for years to come. The decorative birdhouse weighs 7.25 pounds and is two feet tall. And did we mention all handmade? $75. We will be at Fairpark in May, first show this year for us. William Moore puts a lot of thought and detail in every piece he makes. True craftsmanship.

We have a few birdhouses left and they make great Christmas gifts. Some special people will receive these coasters soon.

A handcrafted item is a meaningful and beautiful gift. Our wood products are truly handmade, meaning a real person spent several hours designing on paper, purchasing wood, spending countless hours creating a piece of art from love of God that is from nature. These are not laser cut. The fun sublimated items such as tile coasters, bookmarks, signs, air fresheners and car coasters are created by a human too. The artwork was purchased or created and several hours were spent creating a simple item. After working full time and on several weekends William spent many hours in the shop cutting and shaving wood. Kathy actually stopped long enough to sit still in front of a computer to imagine and create the small "stocking stuffers" or "happies" that we share. All of our sales include tissue paper and bag, ready for gifting. We started attending festivals after Marcus died, enjoyed our time together but now we have another four-legged fur baby that is more important to spend our time with. We are not closing out WilKat, just making some changes. You can contact us via email at [email protected]. We closed the original wilkat webpage but do have a new one: wilkat.square.site and local folks know where to find William at the Journal.
