Our landscaping department, headed by Eddie Martin (co-owner) graduated from Mississippi State University with a degree in landscape contracting. Full scale landscaping, irrigation, aquatic installation, rock work, hardscape,and lawn and landscape maintenance are some of the things they offer. The garden center area has a very diverse offering of landscape shrubs, perennials, annuals, trees, herbs, houseplants, vegetables, glazed pottery, clay pots, many gifts for the garden and home, and also a full line of disc golf supplies with knowledgeable, friendly staff to help you.

Do you want a Limelight Hydrangea, but want to be different from your neighbor? Firelight and Pinky Winky Prime Hydrangeas both are more improved cultivars of Hydrangea paniculata from Proven Winners. They have a better tendency to gain pink color as blooms fade (a little afternoon shade and irrigation help), and they get just as tall, if not taller! Firelight gets 8 feet tall and Pinky Winky Prime over 9 feet! Wow!

Anyone out there been waiting for a truly tiny blueberry bush? These Bushel and Berry blueberries mature just 1-2 feet and 2-3 feet tall! They're southern highbush hybrids, bred to withstand our heat. They'd love a little afternoon relief from sun. They're also great in containers! Check em' out!

We saw a Monarch butterfly today and it made us think about Milkweed. We have four varieties by seed that are all native and can easily be sowed in the fall for germination the following spring. Monarch butterflies depend on milkweed because they lay their eggs on it, and then their caterpillars feed on it!
