At Old Towne Music, we help families find the instrument their school requires and make sure students have the right size, especially for violin, viola, and cello.

Band and orchestra instrument rentals are available through our Turnersville and Swedesboro locations.

Getting ready for school band or orchestra?

Old Towne Music offers instrument rentals at both our Turnersville and Swedesboro locations, with introductory rates starting as low as $39 for the first four months on select instruments.

If you’re unsure which instrument your child needs or what their school requires, bring us the information provided by their music teacher. Our staff will help you select the correct instrument and make sure you have the appropriate lesson book, music stand, reeds, cleaning supplies, and other accessories for the school year.

For orchestral string instruments—including violin, viola, and cello—visit either location and we can properly measure your child and select an instrument size that fits comfortably.

Rentals are provided through NEMC, with free home shipping or convenient in-store pickup available.

What an afternoon at Caroline’s By the Bay in Somers Point! We couldn’t have asked for nicer weather or a better setting for our Rock U show.
Our Rock U students did an incredible job taking the stage and putting on a fantastic performance. We’re proud of every musician who performed and grateful to our instructors, families, friends, and everyone who came out to support them.
