July 4th weekend is done.

The Allstar stand was open thirteen straight days.

I slept about four hours a night, my kids ran the register better than most college graduates, and my wife kept us fed like it was her full-time job.

Also the Godfather sold out again...

Real estate all year, fireworks two weeks.

Both keep us humble.

Twenty-five years ago, this journey looked nothing like it does today.

There wasn’t a superstore.

There weren’t multiple stands.

There wasn’t a team of incredible operators spread across North Alabama.

There was simply a dream… a family… and a willingness to work harder than anyone else.

Today, I’m overwhelmed with gratitude.

To every customer who stopped by one of our stores or stands… thank you.

To everyone who shared a post, liked a video, left a comment, tagged a friend, or joined in on all of our Facebook fun… thank you.

Even if you never bought a single firework from us, you helped us spread the word, encouraged our team, and became part of this season’s story.

We appreciate every single one of you.

We love giving things away because seeing people smile has always been more valuable than the products themselves.

We know social media doesn’t always love those giveaways, but we’ll always find ways to have fun, celebrate together,
..and give back to the people who have supported our family for so many years.

The 4th of July season requires ninety days of planning for just a few weeks of celebration.

There are inspections, permits, inventory, logistics, staffing, training, setup,

…and thousands of moving pieces that most people never see.

It’s a labor of love, and it’s one our family is honored to do every year.

When the season ends, we finally get to slow down for a few days and spend some much-needed time together.

Family has always been the reason we started this business… and it remains the reason we keep going.

Because of you, our operators were able to earn money for college, family vacations, weddings, and dreams they’re working toward.

One of those operators is 100001719121693:2048:Brayden Sparks. If you’ve visited one of our locations, chances are you’ve crossed paths with him.

He’s poured countless hours into nearly every stand we operate, before the season, during the season, and after the last firework is sold.

This year’s success will help him as he prepares for one of the biggest moments of his life… his upcoming wedding.

Congratulations, Brayden.

We’re incredibly proud of you.

As this season comes to a close, I also want to answer one of the questions we hear every year.

Yes… we’re always open to growing.

If you own property and would like to discuss hosting one of our stands, let’s talk.

If you’ve ever wanted to get into the fireworks business yourself, I’d be happy to share what I’ve learned.

I don’t believe in gatekeeping knowledge.

I’ve been blessed by people who were willing to teach me, and I believe it’s my responsibility to do the same for others.

If your church, school, nonprofit, or organization is looking for a fundraising opportunity for New Year’s or next Fourth of July, we’d love to explore that with you too.

The more time we have to plan, the better we can help you succeed.

Finally…

From my family to yours…

Thank you for trusting us.

Thank you for making us part of your 4th of July traditions.

Thank you for allowing a little family dream that started twenty-five years ago to become something so much bigger than we ever imagined.

We don’t take a single customer, a single share, or a single conversation for granted.

May God bless you, your family, and this great country we all get to celebrate each Independence Day.

We’ll see you next season. 🇺🇸 Part 12
