Two kittens are better than one! Sometimes people laugh and say we're just trying to get more cats adopted, but there's actually a real and tangible reason to adopt two young cats together. Single kittens can develop social, emotional, and behavioral problems that make them more challenging pets. Two kittens will grow up much more well adjusted because they smooth out one other's rough edges. We have loads of kittens that are siblings or are friends with one another and would make great double adoptions. We'd love to help you find the perfect pair!

To the person who left this dirty crate stuffed with eight (8!) kittens in the middle of Highway 12 (yes, literally in the center of the highway) just outside Valley Springs Friday afternoon … well, we shouldn’t really finish that thought, because we do our best to keep things upbeat here.

To Levi, the sweet young local cowboy in a black hat who stopped his vehicle as soon as he saw them, scooped those babies up, and rushed them right to us, you have our admiration and appreciation. People like you give extra meaning to what we do.

The Highway 12 Bunch left for foster care Friday afternoon -- vaccinated, de-flea’d and de-wormed -- and will be old enough for adoption in about two weeks. ❤️🐾
