Hey all - out of an abundance of caution, we’re cancelling the Two-Headed Giant Event and closing Black Dragon early.

The safety of our staff and customers is a top priority for us. Please follow all police recommendations if you’re out and about today.

Our hearts go out to anyone impacted by this tragedy.

At this time we’re planning to reopen tomorrow at Noon with our regular scheduled events.

This Sunday is Second Sunday, and we'd like to do something as a store to honor Shauna while giving our community a chance to continue connecting with something she created.
We have about 20 copies of Don't Try This at Home, and we'll be giving them away (while supplies last) to the first participants who would like one at both Second Sunday Board Games and our Casual Commander event.
If you've never heard of or played Don't Try This at Home, we've included a clip of Shauna talking about the game and what inspired it. We hope you'll take a moment to watch it, and if you're able, come spend some time with the community this Sunday.
We think it's a meaningful way to celebrate her creativity and share a piece of her with others. ❤️

Many of us have heard the news that one of our community members, Shauna, has passed away. Shauna was a large part of helping make our Magic: The Gathering community such a warm and welcoming place. We just got word that this Sunday (July 05), Shauna's son will be in town and will join the casual Sunday commander crowd. The group usually meets around 12 PM. Please feel free to stop by and offer condolences and share memories of Shauna even if you're not playing Commander.
