This table is over 8 years old. I changed the look once over the years, but honestly… I didn’t love it.

So I brought the tabletop back to its natural, bare grain. I sold the original base and bench I made all those years ago, but kept the original tabletop.

Then I built a brand-new base with these sexy, chunky legs and now it’s….PERFECT.

Next up: finding the perfect chairs to go with it.

Mother’s Day is coming up and I just wanted to share with you a little project the kiddos and myself made for their sweet mother. We made a small black walnut catch tray with a hand drawn message to her that I uploaded to my computer and then laser engraved to the surface of the walnut. How cool is that? These custom gifts are the thing I enjoy doing the most here at my shop. I hope all of you guys have planned something special for the moms/wives in your life and that all of you mothers have a wonderful Mother’s Day this coming weekend.
