🔥 ONE MORE WALK 🔥

This commissioned firefighter lamp has officially made its way to Kansas City, Missouri, and it’s one that carries a story far beyond the artwork itself.

Both firefighters depicted on this piece proudly served with the Kansas City Fire Department (KCFD) for over 23 years each.

Created from a repurposed fire extinguisher, this lamp features two firefighters walking side by side into the flames—a tribute to years of service, brotherhood, sacrifice, and a bond that doesn’t end when the last alarm sounds.

Every detail was thoughtfully created to honor their story, from the hand-painted figures to the warm, fire-like glow of the copper-lined shade.

Some commissions are more than just creating something beautiful. They’re about preserving memories, honoring lives, and telling stories that deserve to live on.

I’m incredibly honored to have been trusted with this one. ❤️

Two firefighters. Two legacies. One more walk together.

🖤 FINALLY FINISHED!! 🖤

What started as a large, outdated entertainment console has been completely reimagined into something dramatic, elegant, and just a little mysterious!

This transformation has been a labor of love, and after countless hours of planning, creating, painting, and perfecting the details, I’m FINALLY ready to show her off!

My vision was to take a piece of furniture that had seen better days and give it an entirely new personality—Victorian Gothic elegance with a modern twist.

🖤 The Finishes:
The main body is painted in Mars Black, a gorgeous, rich black with subtle brown undertones. I incorporated a second, custom-tinted black to create just enough contrast to accentuate the architectural details. The top and feet were finished in Dark Walnut stain, adding warmth and depth to all that beautiful darkness.

🖤 The Showstoppers:
Those incredible Gothic cathedral window details! Custom-made by HoosierBlanks out of Arkansas, these intricate designs were exactly what I needed to bring my vision to life. They completely transformed the original doors into something truly special. (https://www.etsy.com/shop/HoosierBlanks)

At approximately 8 feet long, this isn’t exactly a subtle piece of furniture—and it certainly wasn’t a small undertaking! 😂

I absolutely LOVE taking furniture that might otherwise be overlooked and turning it into something unexpected. This one challenged me creatively, but seeing it all come together makes every hour worth it.

From outdated entertainment center to Gothic statement piece! 🖤

I’m pretty darn proud of this one!

So tell me… would you ever have guessed what this piece started out as?

After weeks and weeks, this one finally got to go HOME! 🖤

From finding just the right pieces, arranging delivery, working through the HOT, HOT Texas weather, power outages, and a few other unexpected emergencies along the way… this makeover definitely made me work for the reveal. 😂

But LOOK AT THEM. 😍

This VERY LARGE dresser and matching nightstand pair got a complete transformation, and I absolutely love how they turned out. The deep, warm black, all that beautiful molding, the little bun feet, and that center mesh detail gave these pieces a whole new life while still keeping all of their character.

Hardware will be added later by customer 🙃

Some projects go smoothly. Some apparently want to test your commitment. 😂 This was definitely the second kind—but seeing them finished, loaded up, and headed home made every bit of it worth it.

Another old set given a second chance—and ready for its next chapter. 🖤

And yes… they are every bit as BIG in person as they look. 😳😂

One-of-a-kind firefighter lamps created from vintage fire extinguishers and transformed into functional works of art.

My collection includes my original four-piece, hand-painted firefighter series:

🔥 Into the Fire {{SOLD}}
🪜 The Climb
🪓 Answering the Call
🚒 Holding the Line

I also create other one-of-a-kind firefighter designs, including a special 9/11 tribute lamp and an illuminated flame-pattern extinguisher lamp.

🔥 Illuminated Flame Lamp — This unique design features a flame pattern individually drilled into the metal body of the vintage extinguisher. A light inside the extinguisher shines through the openings, creating the appearance of a glowing fire from within. The three-way lighting system allows the upper lamp, illuminated extinguisher body, or both to be lit, creating three completely different looks. The interior bulb is included.

👉 Every Lamp Comes Complete

🔥 Each lamp includes a black linen shade with a copper-lined interior, giving the upper light a beautiful warm, reflective glow.

🔺 Each also includes an ON/OFF switch on the cord for convenient operation.

🔺 Available options include a dimmer socket and a black shade with star cutouts, which allows tiny points of light to shine through when illuminated.

🔺 The hand-painted lamps are signed original artwork, and every firefighter lamp I create is individually designed—no two are exactly alike.

‼️ Custom Firefighter Lamps Available

✏️ I can personalize a lamp with a firefighter's name, badge number, department, station number, or other meaningful details, or work with you to create an entirely different firefighter design.

🚨 BIG VINTAGE HARDWARE HAUL JUST ADDED! 🚨

I’ve been working my way through one of my biggest hardware hauls yet, and a whole bunch of it is officially listed!

There are solid brass drawer pulls, oversized handles, ornate backplates, ring pulls, k***s, finials, casters and all kinds of beautiful old furniture hardware — including matching pairs and sets.

This is the kind of hardware I LOVE finding: heavy, detailed, beautifully aged pieces that can make an ordinary dresser or cabinet look completely different.

Whether you’re restoring an antique, flipping furniture, replacing missing hardware or just hoarding gorgeous old brass for your “someday” project…I understand. 😂

Most pieces have been cleaned up while keeping that beautiful vintage character and patina.

✨ Lots of newly listed pieces available now:

And yes…there is STILL more hardware coming. 😬
