🇲🇽✨ September 16 — Mexican Independence Day ✨🇲🇽
Today we celebrate more than a date on the calendar. We honor the history, resistance, faith, traditions, ancestors, and cultural memory that continue to shape México generation after generation. 🌽🕯️🌹
From the Grito de Dolores and the fight for independence, to Indigenous civilizations, curanderismo, limpias, folk Catholic devotion, ancestor remembrance, folklore, sacred plants, candles, copal, and family traditions Mexican culture carries layers of history that deserve to be remembered with respect. ❤️🤍💚
México is not one single story, one single spiritual practice, or one single tradition. It is a living tapestry of peoples, regions, beliefs, languages, customs, and ancestral knowledge that continue to evolve while still carrying the memory of those who came before. 🌿✨
So today we celebrate the freedom that was fought for, the ancestors who endured, the traditions that survived, and the generations still building what comes next. 🇲🇽🔥
Proud of the roots.
Grateful for the ancestors.
Honoring the history.
Building the future.
¡Viva México! 🇲🇽🌹🕯️
