I have had the question, what does ASAH mean?
What is the inspiration for using that as a name?
God’s Prophecy is founded on the Word of God. So I wanted a name that signified what this part of our ministry is about.
And those who know me well, know how much I love the Hebrew language and love studying the original Hebrew of the Old Testament.
The word asah is Hebrew, עשה, means to do, fashion, accomplish, make.
Simple meaning, but to me it is pointing to Colossians 3:23, “And whatever you do, work heartily as for the Lord and not for men.”
The theme verse for ASAH custom, which includes asah in the original text, is Psalms 90:17:
“May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us— yes, establish the work of our hands.”
As we come along side you to make custom items, we not only pray that God establish the work of our hands, but also the purpose for which you are requesting our collaboration.
So even if what you are looking for is not specifically including a Bible verse, we are praying for you, for the purpose of the request, and for “the favor of the Lord to rest on you, and establish the work of your hands.”
