A Little Change to Our Shop Hours!

We’re making a small change to our regular hours at Rooted & Refined!

Going forward, we’ll be focusing our regular shop hours primarily on weekends, when we can welcome you in, showcase all of our amazing Maine-made products, and give you plenty of time to shop, browse, and discover something new.

Our weekday hours will be more limited, but that doesn’t mean you won’t see us during the week! We’ll still be opening for special events, workshops, pop-up shopping days, and other special occasions throughout the week. Keep an eye on our page so you don’t miss them!

Our goal is to make the most of the hours we are open while continuing to grow Rooted & Refined into a place where our community can shop small, support local makers, and find quality products made with care.

We’re so grateful for everyone who has supported the shop, our vendors, and this little local dream.

We’ll be sharing our updated regular hours very soon!

Have You Saved Your Spot Yet?

Our Wool Felting Workshop with Janet from Humblebeez is coming up on September 15th!

Come spend some creative time with us at Rooted & Refined and learn the fun, relaxing art of needle felting. Janet will guide you step-by-step as you create your very own adorable felted wool owl to take home! Along with the owl, participants will be able to take home some tools from the workshop to continue felting on their own!

Rooted & Refined is looking to partner with local farms and growers to bring even more of Maine’s seasonal goodness to our shop in Unity!

We’re looking for local farms that may be interested in working with us to offer seasonal items such as:

Pumpkins & mini pumpkins
Gourds & decorative squash
Corn stalks & Indian corn
Hay or straw bales
Mums & seasonal flowers
Apples & other seasonal produce (non refrigerated produce only at this time)
Fresh, locally grown produce
Other seasonal farm-grown or decorative items

We’re especially interested in finding small local farms that would like another place to showcase and sell their products.

We’d love to explore partnership options, including consignment arrangements, so that products can be displayed and sold at Rooted & Refined without requiring a large upfront purchase.

Our goal is to create a beautiful seasonal display while giving our customers another way to shop local, support Maine farmers, and bring a little piece of the local harvest home.

We’re so happy to have HumbleBeez as part of the Rooted & Refined family!

HumbleBeez creates a wonderful variety of handmade pieces, and there’s always something interesting to discover. Currently in the shop, you’ll find beautiful candles, cinnamon-scented angel brooms, pictures, Maine-themed signs, and hand-painted round boxes, and unique decor. All perfect for adding a little handmade charm to your home or finding a special gift.

And we’re especially excited because HumbleBeez will be joining us for a Wool Needle Felting Workshop this September!

Participants will get to learn the basics of needle felting and create their very own adorable wool felted owl with Janet from HumbleBeez. It’s going to be a fun, creative afternoon and a great chance to try something new!

There’s something wonderfully magical about handmade things, and Imperfections Artist brings that magic to Rooted & Refined in some of the most unique ways!

This local artist creates beautiful handmade cobweb brooms, crafted in the spirit of an old-fashioned tradition. Cobweb brooms have been used for generations to reach those high corners, beams, and tucked-away spaces where cobwebs love to hide. Their long, lightweight design makes them both wonderfully functional and beautifully rustic.

But that's not all...

You’ll also find her tiny brooms, made to help you sweep your dreams away. Whether you take that literally, keep one beside your bed, or simply love the whimsical idea behind them, they make such a fun little gift or keepsake.
