Whew! A lot of firsts today!
Mainly, it's the first day of school for many of our local school districts. A huge welcome back to all of our great teachers! As our customers know, floristry is my second career. I taught elementary school for a decade first. With a heart for education, we gladly offer an educator's discount on floral purchases.
Today, is also the grand opening of a new local business! The floral order was for several arrangements (to be place around the entry) with the neutrality of all white blooms.

From time to time we like to update arrangements; it excites us to design something new.
Well, we have updated the casket spray, Joyful Hues, by adding more roses and changing the assortment of flowers.
The older version of Joyful Hues was bold in shades of purple. We have softened the look some, but can still make the older version at any time.
We really like this new version of Joyful Hues. Hope you do too.

Our favorite Mother's Day bouquet so far! It was ordered by the president of one of our local banks in Universal City. It has a large assortment of flowers....peonies, iris, lilies, bells of Ireland, sunflowers, hydrangeas, delphinium, roses, snapdragons, and ball mums.
The shop will be open again tomorrow and Sunday for flower pick ups or deliveries.
Happy Mother's Day weekend to all of the great Mothers out there!!!
