Thank you to everyone who came out to play! We also want to give a special thank you to everyone who generously donated prizes to help fill our punch cups. Your support helped make the game even more exciting for all the kids!

From water tank fishing and bean bags to water sq**rt races, duck hunts, duck races, and our Punch Cup Game, seeing so many smiling faces and families having fun was the best part of our week.

Thank you again for making this year’s Southern Iowa Fair so special. We appreciate every single one of you and can’t wait to see you all again next year! ❤️🎣

Hey, kids—grab a partner and get ready to shake your tail feathers at the Scanlon Bait & Tackle DUCK RACE!

🐥 KIDS ONLY!

Teams of two will waddle like ducks while carrying a water balloon—with arms held out like wings! How many balloons can your team get safely to the other side in five minutes without popping them?

Fair warning: graceful waddling is optional. Quacking is highly encouraged. 😂

🏆 The winning team gets their choice of tickets to the concert or supper on us!

🐥🦆 What a fun night at the Southern Iowa Fair! 🦆🐥

A huge THANK YOU to all the kids who came out to play our Find the Ducks game tonight! We had so much fun watching everyone search high and low for those hidden ducks!

🏆 Age Group 7 & Under Winner: Ava!
Unfortunately, we didn’t get a picture, but congratulations, Ava! You did an awesome job!

🏆 Age Group 8–13 Winners: This amazing group of boys! 👏

They proved that teamwork makes the dream work! Watching them encourage each other, work together, and make new friends along the way is exactly what the fair is all about. Moments like these remind us that the best prizes aren’t just the ones you win—they’re the friendships and memories you make together. 💙

A very special THANK YOU goes out to Becky Gatton and Kelcey Fynaardt for taking the time to hide all of the ducks for us! We couldn’t have done it without you, and we truly appreciate all your hard work.
