This post is for the most generous community in all of Texas.
The Salvation Army is facing a tremendous gift shortage this year.
As of yesterday there are still EIGHT THOUSAND angels who have not been “adopted” off the Angel Trees in North Texas. 💔
We are setting up a Salvation Army table and ADDING a TOY DRIVE to the University Park Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony in Snider Plaza, tomorrow December 3, 3:00pm-7:00pm.
If you have teens needing SERVICE HOURS, we got you!
- One hour per gift, up to four gifts
- Fill out the slip provided at the table with their name, email, and number of gifts donated
- Their hours will be certified via email, post event
We are ALSO adding an authentic Emmitt Smith autographed jersey as a raffle item, in an effort to help raise funds to cover the gift shortage this year.
$5 per ticket, or $20 for five tickets
The winning ticket will be pulled on Monday; the winner will be contacted via information provided.
