Coco Crafts My sewing journey started in April '20. I have learned a lot & sewing bags has given me so much joy. I have always been crafty.

My first love in crafting was stained glass. I started in high school, continued in college and beyond. I have a ton of scrapbooking materials and a few complete albums. Knitting because my go to just after my son was born in 2004 (probably because it was compact and could be put into a bag quickly). In 2005, after Hurricane Katrina, using donated fabric, I sewed 50 baby slings and sent them to Houston, TX so the moms in shelters could hold onto their babies. While knitting was by go-to for many years, in 2019 I started working part-time at the AR Workshop in Wedgewood where I assisted guests in painting wood signs, hand knitting chunky knit blankets and kids camps in tie-dye and other yarn crafts. Unfortunately, AR closed in early 2021. Although, this allowed me to focus on growing my business and expanding into doing markets throughout the year. As of February 2023, I have a few markets on the calendar and I'm working on inventory for them, and the custom orders that come in.
