Urgent Appeal to the International Community
The people of Azad Jammu & Kashmir are calling for immediate international attention to the ongoing situation on the ground. Reports of civilian deaths, hundreds of injuries, use of force against peaceful protesters, arbitrary detentions, and obstacles to medical treatment demand urgent scrutiny and accountability.
We respectfully urge the Government of Pakistan and all security forces to immediately stop the killing of innocent and peaceful protesters, exercise maximum restraint, and respect the fundamental rights of the people. Grievances and public demands should be addressed through dialogue, justice, and democratic means—not through force, violence, or intimidation.
We also call upon all Kashmiri political leaders, Hurriyat leaders, pro-freedom leaders, civil society representatives, human rights activists, and members of the Kashmiri diaspora to raise their voices for the protection of civilians, human rights, justice, and peace, regardless of political differences.
We appeal for an independent and transparent investigation into all allegations of human rights violations and excessive use of force. The protection of civilian lives, access to medical care, freedom of expression, and the right to peaceful assembly must be guaranteed without delay.
Silence in the face of suffering only deepens the crisis. We urge the international community, independent journalists, human rights defenders, and all those who value justice and human dignity to closely monitor the situation and help prevent further loss of life.
The people of Jammu & Kashmir deserve peace, justice, dignity, accountability, and the protection of their fundamental rights. The world must not look away.
