My newly husband and I had a talk last night and he told me I should’ve never put my business on hold despite all the things that are STILL going on. After he explained his point of view, he’s right. I asked him to give me until September because I wanted to come back and come back HARD!! Stay tuned! ♥️♥️ You’re going to see why my company is called a beauty bar once I’m back in action 🙌🏽

I remember when I would hear people say I’ve married my best friend, I was like yeah right! That’s NOT your best friend! Y’all ain’t telling each other things you’d tell one of your homeboys or girlfriends. But the relationship I have with George, I can say it’s possible! This is my best friend! We tell one another EVERYTHING! We LOVE each other’s company. I knew George since I was 12 years old. Who can say at 12 they looked into the eyes of their future spouse? ♥️ the joy I feel is top tier… it’s up there with the birth of my babies. Eekkk!!! I’m officially Mrs. Sommer Thompson!!

Thank you for all of your support. Brown Glitter Beauty Bar will temporarily be closed. I’m excited for the personal and professional changes that are brewing🙌🏽 new professional website, more variety of lashes, other products will be added, better marketing, more vending events, etc. Personally I have exciting changes as well. 😊 this is not a goodbye. 💍 My fiancé is one of the sweetest and kindest men I’ve ever met. He always helps me see the things I should be Thankful for everyday 😊

As we’re inching closer to Thanksgiving, please reflect back on all things we are thankful for. Even the small things. 🤗

Yes, things may seem hard at times but what we are going through, another person is going through something even harder. 💞

I look at my life right now and I can truly say is:
“THANK YOU LORD FOR ALL YOU’VE DONE FOR ME!!!” 🙏🏽

💕I’m healthy.
💕I have beautiful children who love me just as much as I love them.
💕I have hands down the BEST fiancé ever.
💕My parents are alive
💕All of my siblings are healthy
💕I’m gaining a new brother
( my baby sister is engaged as well)
💕I’m gaining a loving mother

💕I’m gaining a new sister (Georgie’s sister)
💕I’m employed. I never had my hours cut due to Covid.
💕I have a roof over my head
💕I have food to eat everyday
💕I have a car that can get me where I need to go
💕I have my faithful lash Gods & Goddesses that purchase mink lashes from me faithfully ~I can’t thank you all enough! You all make it possible for me to sell everyday!

I could go on and on but just know… God has been so good to me and I’m thankful 💓
Please take this time and just be thankful for everything that you have, and will receive in the future 💍

Over the weekend my boyfriend asked me to marry him 💍 it means so much when you feel God created a person for you that understands you completely. 🙌🏽 I know I’ve been fairly quiet, I’ve been dealing with personal things but for my loyal customers, I thank you for still holding me down and being loyal to during my silence. I have a great guy and I’m finding mote things to smile about. ❤️ I’m feeling generous… I will do a random drawing to gift a pair of lashes. All you need to do is like my post, tag 1 person you know who likes lashes and one friend you think should try lashes. Let me know which friend is who😊 in honor of my new engagement, I’ll do the drawing next Sunday October 30th. That’ll mark one full week of me being engaged 💍 #

I wanted to take the moment out to reintroduce myself to you all. New year, new beginnings right? 😊
My name is Sommer Peterson, the owner and CEO of Brown Glitter Beauty Bar.

Here’s 10 fun facts about me that I’m sure you all haven’t gotten to know about me if you don’t personally know me.
🎆 I’m a mother of 4.
🎆 I went to college and have a 2 degrees. One in Healthcare Management & the other in healthcare administration.
🎇 I reside in a quaint town in Virginia
🎇 Not only do I strive to be successful with Brown Glitter Beauty Bar, I also have 3 other business endeavors that you all will see very very soon in 2021. I’m one part of we are an entertainment company that hosts various events throughout the DMV area. I’m one part of we are as we speak creating a luxury travel bag line for men and women. And finally, I’ll be a co host for a podcast coming later in 2021 called . So please stay tuned 🤞🏽

🎇 R&B and Reggae music speaks to my soul
🎆I was a former coach for a high school competitive dance team called the Dancing Charlottes and to this day, I STILL keep in touch with majority of the now adult ladies who were on my team.
🎇 I’m a pescatarian but the proper term for what I am is oovo pescatarian (google it) prayerfully, I’m hoping to give up the eggs and cheese and switch to vegan alternatives.
🎆 I love to travel (one of the reasons creating an affordable but luxurious travel bag line was a no brainer for me)
🎇 I’m passionate about helping young mothers navigate their way through motherhood. I have 2 FB groups that I created to assist with tips, pointers, a space to vent, encouragement, etc. I try to be the person to a young mother that I so desperately needed as a young mom.
As Brown Glitter Beauty Bar grows, I look forward to getting to know you all as well.
