There seems to be a rumor making its way around our community that Evan has passed away. We want to clear that up immediately: Evan is very much alive and doing incredibly well in his recovery.
On April 14th, Evan suffered a major stroke, and while the journey has certainly not been easy, God has carried us every step of the way. Today, Evan is home, making progress every single day, and we are grateful for how far he has come.
For those who have called, texted, prayed, sent cards, meals, encouragement, and supported our family and business, thank you. Your kindness has meant more than you know.
We also want to address the impact these rumors can have. Evans Truck & Auto Repair is not just a business. It is Evan’s dream, built through years of hard work, sacrifice, and determination. While he focuses on recovery, our crew and family are working hard every day to keep the shop moving forward and serving our customers.
If you’ve been wondering whether we’re still open, the answer is absolutely YES. We are here, we are working, and we would greatly appreciate your continued support. Every service appointment, repair job, tire purchase, detail and recommendation helps keep the doors open and protects the business Evan worked his entire life to build.
Most importantly, we believe Evan will continue to recover and regain what was lost. We have seen miracles already, and we thank God for every victory, big and small.
