š§ļø RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY⦠AND TAKE YOUR WATER OUT OF MY DRIP TRAY! šš„
PSA from your friends at San Diego Grill Pros! šØ
Your outdoor BBQ is designed to withstand the elements, but that doesnāt mean itās designed to become a swimming pool! šāāļøš¦
Most built-in grills are designed so rainwater can travel through openings around the control panel and eventually collect in the grease drip tray.
And guess what happens when rainwater meets leftover BBQ grease? š¤¢š§ You get a greasy little science experiment nobody signed up for!
š„ GRILL PRO TIP: After a good rainstorm, pull out your drip tray, empty any standing water, clean out the grease, and make sure everything is dry before firing up your grill.
Why? Because water mixed with grease can cause overflowing drip trays, messy cabinets, and potential grease-fire hazards.
Remember, your drip tray is for catching grease, NOT collecting rainwater! š
š§½ Not in the mood to tackle that greasy mess? Call our friend Juan at BBQ Plus Cleaners and let him do the dirty work!
No turkey basters need to be harmed (or dirtied) in the process! š¦š
Keep the grease under control and the good times on the grill! š„š„©
