About me:
From early childhood, I have always been drawn to art in many forms. I began with hand-drawn sketches of anything that caught my interest, and that early curiosity grew into exploring a wide variety of creative outlets over the years. My hands have worked with ceramic pieces, plastic canvas, counted cross stitch, and pastel drawings, much of it self-taught. In high school, I took art classes where I learned to work more deeply with pastels, which helped build my confidence and expand my skills.
In the last 10 years I’ve been creating unique greeting cards and also explored jewelry making, including earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I have created several acrylic paintings, taken the Bob Ross oil painting class, and even made paper beads that I turned into earrings.
Currently, I am a beginner polymer clay artist focusing on earrings and bracelets, and I am also learning how to create resin earrings. My creative journey continues to grow as I explore new techniques and materials. Alongside my personal art, I volunteer with props at the Ashe County Little Theater and have been learning floral arrangements through the Second Chance Flower Ministry at Midway Baptist Church. I am always experimenting, learning, and bringing ideas to life as I see them in my mind—usually with three cats nearby and coffee in hand. In addition to my artistic work, I also design communication systems for children and adults with disabilities, which reflects my passion for creativity, accessibility, and connection in all forms.
