The International Model car museum of Salt Lake city merged with the American Museum of Speed in Lincoln, Nebraska was the event of the year for the model car world. A big statement but real. Mark Gustavson worked for years preserving and curating the history of model cars. The collection included documentation ( books, Magazine, articles,) Collections of Model Cars by notable builders, feature magazine cover cars, also included other builders who contributed their art, and notable artifacts bursting at the seams of the small Salt Lake City museum. The American Museum of Speed help preserved all of Mark's years of meticulous work. Thiis event was the most emotional and important event in years since the last GSL model car contest known at the GSL championship.
