Friends of the Upland Public Library Let's be Friends! We support the Upland Public Library with time, fundraising, public awareness, literacy advocacy, and volunteerism. Who Are The Friends?

Membership dues are as low as $15.00 a year. Established in 1967 Friends of the Upland Public Library is a 501(c) The Friends of the Upland Public Library is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization, comprised of dedicated citizens who support their library with time, talent, funds and volunteer services. The success of the Upland Public Library could not be achieved without the support of the Friends. The Friends raise funds by selling books at the Book Seller throughout the year. The revenues from this activity, as well as funds from membership dues, are all donated to the Upland Library for equipment, library materials, and library programs. The benefits of membership in the Friends of the Upland Library include: incomparable camaraderie, special library events, and civic pride in support of your local library!

Bookenders October 3rd !

📚 Saturday, October 3 at 10 am is our first meeting of the 2026-27 Bookenders season!

This month's book is Spare Parts: Four Undocumented Teenagers, One Ugly Robot, and the Battle for the Ages by Joshua Davis.

We will be joined by Doug Hutchings from Upland High School to discuss the school's Robotics Club and the future of Robotics.

The first part of the meeting engages with the speaker, and the second half is a book discussion. Coffee refreshments and snacks will be provided. See you there!
