Dear Déjà Vu Couture Community,
It is with mixed emotions that we share an important update about Déjà Vu Couture ~ Children’s Consignment Sales.
Déjà Vu Couture was started in 2010 by Kerry and Lisa, and in 2015 the business was passed on to Jeracah Rankins, a longtime volunteer and consignor who believed deeply in its purpose. For the past 11 years, Jeracah has poured her heart into organizing these sales, helping local families save money, and giving children’s clothes, toys, and gear a second life.
What began as a consignment sale grew into something much more meaningful — a trusted community event built on quality, care, and customer satisfaction. Déjà Vu Couture has always taken pride in maintaining high standards and offering families a way to stretch their dollars at a time when the cost of raising a family continues to rise. That mission has always been at the heart of everything we do.
After a great deal of thought, Jeracah has made the very difficult decision to step away. Due to other obligations and commitments, she is no longer able to dedicate the time and energy needed to continue the business in the way it deserves and in the way our customers, consignors, and volunteers have come to expect.
This was not an easy decision. We are deeply thankful for everyone who has been part of this journey over the years. To our customers, consignors, and especially our volunteers — thank you. Your support, loyalty, hard work, and belief in what Déjà Vu Couture stood for helped make it a success, and we are truly grateful.
While this chapter may be coming to a close for us, we would love to see Déjà Vu Couture continue on. If anyone has an interest in purchasing the business and its assets, including the name, website, customer list, display and equipment inventory, business contacts, and transition guidance, we would be happy to have that conversation. If no one is interested in taking over the business, we will be liquidating the equipment and display inventory.
