a couple of interesting mirrors, a miniature Empire shaving or dressing mirror notice the bottle of water for scale! The other is a very hard to find 2 part Federal mirror in beautiful tiger maple! Normally these are always mahogany!!!

Well Happy Birthday America!! I have the best job! I get to handle items that were there sometimes before, during and after our founding. Its pretty cool. So we have a family gathering on Saturday the 4th that we will be going to but I will be here until 1:00 on Saturday the 4th and to compensate I will be open on Friday the 3rd from 10:00? to 5:00. My brothers and I get together for breakfast on Fridays so I might be late! Also planning on being here on Sunday the 5th. Here's some of the pieces that have come in recently. First is a lovely oil on canvas landscape painting identified as Pitlochry Scotland. Pitlochry is a very pretty Victorian town. This painting was done in the early 20th century. Painting is signed W. Richards a British artist who painted numerous scenes of the Scottish Highlands.
