Meet the bit..I mean, WITCH behind the Botánica Marahuyo!

Name: Émori C. R. Longanilla

Nickname: Tita Momo (big auntie vibes)

Hobbies: Workin’. Witchin’. Bitchin’. Eatin’. I also love to read, take nature walks, collect cool rocks and sticks, take naps in cemeteries, play with my pets, and spend time with my loved ones.

Experience: Primarily self taught with guidence from a friend of mine who is a high priestess. She is who took me by the shoulders and told me to get my act together because I was destined for more. Thanks to her, I’ve taken over a decade of prior experience, new research, stories from growing up/new discoveries from my family and really created something beautiful and personable. This kind of work runs in my blood, albeit kind of abandoned in the present times. I hope to bring my family’s legacy of helping others back to life. A new era of folk magic and community building starts with me, and I can’t wait to watch it grow.

After putting some thought into it, I’m going to avoid trying to do any formal hours of operation set up. Everything is going to be by appointment for the foreseeable future.

I still have to work my regular job and unfortunately your girl has bills to pay so I have to have time set aside for that and resting. Haha.

The good news is is that I can start taking appointments now! Still working on getting the actual formal work space set up for myself and for clients, however, I am actively available for home care and or travel services.

That’s right, I’ll come to you! Anywhere within an hour radius or Champaign-Urbana. There will be a travel fee for gas, however, we can always work things out.

It’s happening!

If you know me in general, you know this is an opportunity I’ve been waiting years for. It’s exciting to finally have the chance to really get out here and start offering services to people publicly.
