Today, we remember.
We remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001. We remember the families whose lives were forever changed. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the ordinary people who stepped forward to help strangers, and the countless acts of courage and selflessness that followed.
We also remember what came after. In a moment of unimaginable tragedy, Americans stood together. We looked out for our neighbors. We supported one another. We were reminded that even in our darkest hours, there is strength in unity.
Twenty-five years later, may we continue to honor those we lost not only by remembering their names and their stories, but by carrying forward that same spirit of service, compassion, and unity.
Today, all of us at Dayton Barns pause to remember and reflect.
