The Carle Auxiliary hosted a "flower bar" today in the North Star Café at Carle Foundation Hospital, where participants were able to build their own bouquets. Auxiliary volunteers were happy to lend a helping hand or freely let creativity flow. We thank our Auxilians for always making this event special and fun.♥️⚘️

Before their employee badges said doctor or nurse or administrator in the Carle Health system, they were volunteering to es**rt patients to procedures, bringing the day’s newspaper to a hospital floor, wiping down exam tables and filling water pitchers in patient rooms.

The Carle Health Clinical Recognition Council from the East Region and the Carle Foundation Hospital Auxiliary recently recognized seven finalists at the 38th Annual Auxiliary Nursing Excellence Awards. These seven finalists exude professionalism and excellence in their everyday nursing practice and elevate the Carle Health mission and values to the highest level. At the ceremony, the seven finalists were honored by their colleagues, families and friends. From the seven finalists, four award recipients were announced at the event.
