Here is the finished Rifle sling I showed hand tooling it in this morning's video ... I layed it next to my personal 30 year old rifle sling that I made for myself in 1996 ... I started working November of 1995 .. one year of experience... trying to free hand what I showed you in this morning video ... looks a little bit better ... ...

My grandpa Joe Pena made me ... he made me learn this free hand tooling... he yelled at me one time and said " if you learn it with a pattern you will be lost " . Joe pena. And hed say " if you think your a artist , do it on leather where you cant erase it ". Joe pena...So that day forward i learned all our floral patterns by memory.. all of them ... ... he was very very strict and now im glad he was tough and so strict with me Part 7
