Summer is officially over, which means our seasonal Sunday hours are too.

Starting this Sunday, Broken Spoke Boutique will be back to our regular hours, closed on Sundays.

Our regular hours:
Monday–Friday: 10AM-5:30PM
Saturday: 10AM-5PM
Sunday: Closed

We’re bringing the good stuff to
Sutherland!
My Valentine Vintage will be set up at the Sutherland Makers Market tomorrow, Saturday, September 26, from 10 AM to 3 PM.
And we’re bringing stuff you’ve never seen at the shop.
We’ve been digging through the reserve and pulling together lots of vintage finds that haven’t made it out onto the floor at Broken Spoke Boutique yet, with pieces ranging from the 1920s all the way through Y2K.
Vintage clothing. Home decor. Cool old finds. And crates of vinyl records that haven’t been seen in store yet!
We’ll be set up right next to our friends at Ember + Sage Candle Co, so you can shop My Vintage Valentine, grab a Nebraska-made candle, wander through the rest of the Market and make a whole day of it.
And there will be plenty to see.
Over 70 booths. Food. A KidZone. A raffle. Local businesses with specials. Handmade goods. Vintage. And the Sutherland Invitational Volleyball Tournament happening at the high school if you want to catch some volleyball while you’re in town.
The forecast is looking like sunny skies and about 80°, so there’s really no reason to stay home.
Come spend Saturday in Sutherland, support the makers and small businesses, and maybe take home something you didn’t know you were looking for.

We restocked our locally made Beard Oil
 and I’m not even going to pretend it’s just for beards.
Yes, this oil is incredible for beards. It softens, conditions, and actually soaks in instead of just sitting there making everything greasy (you know exactly the kind I’m talking about đŸ˜«).
BUT.
I’ve been using it on *my* hair
and it’s one of best things I’ve added to my daily routine. Especially with the dry weather we’ve been having!
Just a tiny amount on the ends and it smooths, hydrates, and brings dry, tired hair back to life without weighing it down.
So whether you’re grabbing a gift for *him* or sneaking something for yourself, this one does both. And it *really* works (and smells SO good).
They’re back in stock at Broken Spoke Boutique, but not in huge quantities

Most people think Nebraska is flat. They’ve obviously never seen the Sandhills.
Endless rolling hills
but they’re not hills. They’re ancient sand dunes, held in place by grass and stretching almost farther than you can even drive in a day
and they cover nearly a quarter of the entire state. Lakes tucked between them. Cattle grazing across them. Home to generations of ranching families who’ve worked the same land for decades. Bird’s cheerful songs floating on the breeze.
They are not what a lot of people would expect. And they’re right here in Nebraska.
