We are receiving a lot of questions about the recent federal court ruling involving suppressors and SBR's listed in the National Fi****ms Act (NFA), so we wanted to provide an easy to understand update.

The short answer: Nothing has changed for customers ~ at least not yet.

A federal judge in Texas recently ruled that certain NFA registration requirements for suppressors are unconstitutional. (Please keep in mind there are a large number of Federal Judges in the United States and this is just 1 that has made this ruling.)

However, that ruling has been temporarily stayed (for 10 days) so that federal government can have the opportunity to appeal the decision.

So what does this mean at the moment?
✅ Suppressors are still transferred through the normal ATF Form 4 process. (We handle your fingerprints in store and still submit electronically.)
✅ Existing federal laws and procedures remain in effect.
✅ Dealers must continue following current ATF regulations.

This case could have a significant impact on the future of suppressor ownership, but there are still several legal steps ahead.
The appeal process is just beginning, and additional court rulings or official ATF guidance could change what happens next.
As always, we are monitoring this case closely through official court filings and ATF announcements. As soon as there is a meaningful update that affects our customers, we’ll explain it so that and let you know exactly what it means.
