Meet Ryleigh Reed, our newest barista/bookseller. If you’ve been in more than once, there’s a decent chance she’s already introduced herself.

I’ve watched Ryleigh grow up, so having her join the Chapters family is pretty special. She’s sweet, friendly, and very talkative. So obviously, she fits right in around here.

Ryleigh graduated from Cedarville High School and is currently attending UAFS, studying Early Childhood Education. She was also recently crowned Miss Crawford County Fair Queen because apparently college and a new job weren’t keeping her busy enough. 🤣

She fits right into the little bit of chaos that makes Chapters the place we all love.

So next time you’re in, say hi to Ryleigh and welcome her to the family☕📖

Threshing Day was a success! For the night, Chapters on Main was Basgiath War College. Our cadets crossed the parapet by answering 3 questions. Then went head to head on “the mat,” with speed questions. They climbed the gauntlet of 50 trivia questions and scavenger hunted for their dragon. Only a few left bonded, others perished. But boy was it fun!

You’re invited Monday Night at 10:00!

Chapters on Main will become Basgiath War College for the night.
We will close at 7:00 and open back up at 10:00 with a limited Empyrean Themed Menu.

But FIRST you must cross the parapet, survive the gauntlet, and take on challenges at the mat.

You will face trials of wit and intelligence. Through games of trivia, riddles, and a scavenger hunt. Only a few will leave the night bonded with their book at Midnight. *quantities are limited*

✨ ONE lucky person will walk away with the Grand Prize! A copy of Threshing Day with a real signature plate hand signed by Rebecca Yarros herself!

Product shoot with the amazing and talented Athziri. She’s one of our baristas/booksellers.

She’s super sweet, knowledgeable about books, and makes a mean latte. But I bet you didn’t know she also has a degree from UAFS in media communication with a concentration in post production editing and photography! She also minored in Spanish and she has certification to teach English as a second language.

🍂 It’s officially fall, y’all. 🍂

And for once, the weather understood the assignment.

The first day of fall arrived with cooler air this morning, and we couldn’t have asked for better timing, because we’ve been quietly waiting for this to bring out our fall menu.

There’s just something about that first cool day of the season. The first morning that feels different. The first time a warm cup of coffee feels less like caffeine and more like a ritual.

At Chapters on Main, we believe coffee is an art.

That’s one of the reasons we’re so proud to serve Onyx Coffee Lab. Great coffee deserves intention, from the beans and the brew to the flavors we carefully pair with every cup. We wanted our fall menu to feel the same way: thoughtful, beautifully made, and full of the flavors that belong beside crisp air, old books, and changing leaves.

So we didn’t rush it.

We waited for fall to actually feel like fall.

And today, it finally does. 🍁
