Since 1989 we have specialized in solid wood furniture. Our business grew from our garage and moved to our stand-alone furniture manufacturing facility on Andresen Rd in 1992. We opened our showroom in 1995 adjacent to our manufacturing facility. At this point, we also started bringing furniture in from other manufacturers to help fill our floor space. This showroom was a good start, but was diff
icult to get to, and even harder to find so we moved our showroom downtown to Broadway and 10th in 1999. While at this location, we opened The Naked Furniture Company on Andresen Rd. This store specialized in unfinished furniture and finishing supplies; a niche that needed filling in Clark County. In 2002, in need of a larger location, we moved from Broadway to our current building on Andresen Rd. We added framed art and clocks to our selection. We are now centrally located with ample parking area for our customers. Summer of 2005 we consolidated both of our stores into the location at 3000 NE Andresen Rd. This move made it easier for customers to see our entire product line without the need for traveling between stores. We now have many different quality collections and custom options. In 2022 Bruce & Kathryn Lyons decided it was finally time to retire and sold the business. They are now enjoying their new life adventures and spending time with their children and grand-children. Bruce, Kate, and family were a pivotal part of making this company a success and will be greatly missed by all those that had the pleasure to work with them. Henry is the new owner of Vancouver Woodworks Furniture. With his business background and vision for the future of the company we are excited to see how we can continue to help our growing community with all their wood furniture needs.
