Wedding Cloak from inspo to completion. This is the hardest one I've done yet! I majorly underestimated how long hand stitching the embroidered patches mom made onto the shoulders. Closer to 4 hrs vs the 1 i quoted. But all in all it is stunning.

Off to Georgia for the October 3rd wedding!

Will post pics of the groom wearing it when he sends them to me.

1st pic: Lots of cool grass in the shade for sleepy travelers in the fae realm. This one looked like it might have been a really deep sleep, so we put a warning sign near him to warn other travelers.

2nd pic: the perfect pocket!

Videos: Not every day you see Darth Vader and Santa dressed as a xmas tree playing Pink Floyd covers. And the fairy smashers newly trained smashers pursuing the ogre.

I have discovered the BEST way to handle cat fur on my sewing projects.

(Don't worry, it is heavy wool so her claws do 0 damage. I keep the cats away from the more delicate fabrics. Yes. If you order from me it comes from a pet friendly home, so if you have extreme allergies, maybe dry clean first! I do my best to free all extra hair before shipping!)

New for the weekend (mostly). 2 new goblets, a new cup and many many mushies. The pitcher is available to ogle at but I want to fix a small spot before fixing it. The lighter goblet I noticed today warped on the base on one side. It still sits fine, but would like to fix it before it goes to its new home.

Also, we are adjusting our show schedule and have chosen not to do GraysHaven Renaissance Festival. Many of us (other vendors who were doing it too) feel it is being mishandled and are worried about the outcome with so little communcation this close to the event. Hopefully they get things figured out to have a successful event.

Next up after Cascadia Ren Faire (today and tomorrow!) is Realms Unknown Sept 18 -20.
