We had a busy weekend last weekend and that meant a lot of making this past week...which meant when the kiln loads were done and ready, i did not have time to do a photo shoot 😪

There are a few things left but holy wow, i never expected to sell this last batch so fast!

Thanks to all who gave a place in your homes and heart for my art. It is truly gratifying seeing how much it is loved 💚

This weekend and next are the last of the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Festival and then after a tiny break, we will be the Cascadia Renaissance Faire the first week of September ( hopefully with new goodies!)

3 ish years ago, i was neighbors with a boot maker at the Mcminnville Scottish Festival. I loved his work and decided to put a deposit on a pair of boots. Then forgot about them. A year later he reached out and the amazing human he is, worked with me over the course of the next 2 years getting small payments made with the final one this June.
Last weekend i got to pick up my boots! They are super comfortable, like an I can wear these all day and not hurt kind. Still breaking them in and need to get them wet so they form to my foot, but I cannot be more happy!

Now I have a reason to get the rest of my costume put together that they were meant for 🥰

You know, the boys did great last week. This week, not so much. I know it was Zs bday and Al came to faire saturday and worked sunday...but also, I can work all the time and make time to do dishes and wipe down counters. (I am not posting this to shame them. It is just very frustrating after being gone all weekend to have to play catch up because no one else sees the mess).

So, off to the garden to do the enjoyable chores before tackling the adult chores, and then to meal plan, grocery shop, and run errands so I can spend the rest of the week making things for next weekend! (And I'm already tired 😫)
