TAIPAN 120cc — The Evolution Has Fangs!

Take a closer look at Quique Somenzini’s newest creation! Building on decades of Model 12 development, the ALL-NEW Flex Innovations Taipan 120cc brings refined aerodynamics, improved cooling, and greater convenience at the field.

Explore the photos and discover what’s new:

• Speed-Lock canopy, wings, and stabilizers for quick, tool-free assembly at the field.
• Three-piece cowling with a removable front section incorporating a one-piece fiberglass engine baffle for improved cooling.
• Reshaped lower cowling with a low-pressure lip to help extract cooling air.
• Factory-cut cooling openings in the fuselage bottom.
• Landing gear fairings.
• Canopy repositioned farther aft to improve high-speed performance and reduce coupling.
• New wing planform.
• New wingtips for improved low-speed stability.
• Counterbalanced ailerons for faster rolls at low airspeeds, especially during rolling harriers.
• Redesigned vertical fin and rudder.
• New horizontal stabilizers and elevators.
