Angels Thrift

Our mission is to help people in need by providing a location for them to find food and goods at low cost. We sell clothing, shoes, jewelry, furniture, household goods, kitchenware, small appliances, beds and bedding, linens, books and tools. We work with other charity organizations such Center for Hope, VA Veterans and Rolah by providing goods free of charge to those in need. We also reach out fr

om our location to a wide variety of citizens, with a charitable focus on seniors and veterans. Donations are accepted from throughout the Venice area. We resell many of the treasures, using these funds to maintain the rent and utilities and provide funding for staff. All donated items which we can provide to the above noted seniors and veterans are given free to those in need. Examples of items we have provided include walkers, wheelchairs, health equipment, clothing, food, and even items to assist in home remodeling to accommodate those with disabilities. We estimate that we impact the lives of approximately 50-100 seniors and veterans each month. We would like to expand this outreach; however, our only means of doing so is word of mouth. We have no advertising budget. We would be incredibly grateful if you would help spread the word by liking us on Facebook and sharing our page to increase our customer base and help us raise money for those in need. We take donations of items and cash!
