01/23/2026
Well, 2026 started with a disturbance.
Our page was reported and taken down for allegedly “violating Instagram’s Community Guidelines.” After an intense fight, we were able to regain it. On or about December 12, we received an email from Instagram stating that we had shared content that violated their guidelines, and the post was automatically deleted. After further investigation, it became clear that someone had reported our post and continued to repeatedly report our page.
Fast forward to January 17, when we received another email stating “Your Instagram account has been suspended. This is because your account, or activity on it, doesn’t follow our Community Standards.” This is where things took a darker turn. Someone locally reported our page. Because we are a legitimate business with proper documentation, I was able to escalate the issue and speak directly with Meta, Instagram’s parent company. That alone took about three days, and most people never get past the appeal process.
Initially, I received no response. After sending multiple legal notices of dispute, I finally connected with a live agent. During that conversation, I was informed that our page had been reported under false accusations. Hearing that was shocking knowing someone would intentionally try to damage another person’s business and reputation with lies.
That same individual also reported us to the city.
It’s disturbing, especially knowing this came from someone local and within the same event space. Trying to dismantle someone else’s platform instead of focusing on your own growth is sad. In the end, our page was only down for a few days and honestly, those days gave me time to reflect, rebuild, and create new ideas that will make what we do even more meaningful and appreciated.
You know exactly who you are.
What you did didn’t stop us—it only strengthened us. And in this season of my life, I’ve grown closer to God. My faith has shifted my reactions and my heart. I choose peace, restraint, and growth over anger.
Jesus sees all. I truly hope you find healing—through self-reflection, therapy, and faith. There is room for everyone to succeed without falsely reporting pages. HATER
