Effects Pedals for the Tone Chaser 🏃 | Guitar | Bass | Synth

Compliment and contrast. The Autumn Drive provides a soft wash of overdrive with transparent eq. The Winter Fuzz is a feral dual-octave fuzz pedal that doesn’t sound digital, or brittle like a ring modulator.

At Renzo Sound, my design philosophy is refining tones. Softening the edges, caring about the details. It’s ear candy.

The Winter Fuzz offers a feral dual-octave fuzz tone. When you need some ear candy on guitar, bass or synth. A great alternative if you don’t totally love bit crushed or ring modulated tones.

Felt cute, time for the king to come back? Spent the last of 2024 and most of 2025 taking care of personal issues. Itching to get back with the community I love and reopen Renzo Sound.

Obsessed with fuzz effects and need to have the entire spectrum of tones?🌈 Why choose the Winter Fuzz to add to your collection?

Let’s strip away the hype. Your guitar’s signal is split apart to generate expertly-designed upper and lower octaves, mixed back with your clean signal and then fed into a rippin’ opamp fuzz for plenty of sustain. Did I mention it’s analog? I take a modern approach to improve note tracking but it’s still pleasantly imperfect.

Why no octave control or switch? If you had the choice, how often would you turn the octaves on? Live a little and enjoy that biting upper octave and the growling, textural lower octave. Works great on bass and synth too.

No gimmicks, just great tone.

Two really special events are happening this month:
- I’m giving away Autumn Drive #100 to a mailing list member on September 30! All you have to do is live in the US and jump on our mailing list at Renzosound.com
- I’ll be offering a very limited Autumn Drive & Winter Fuzz bundle deal. Details to be announced on the mailing list! (Did I mention you should be on the mailing list?)

Renzo Sound started 2 years ago with the release of the Autumn Drive, a transparent 70’s inspired overdrive that transforms clean amps into growling monsters. The feedback has been so positive, do we have a modern classic in the making?

I take a lot of care to design effects with a focus on simple controls and refined tones.

To all my customers and fans, I couldn’t have done it without you. Your support has been amazing and the future is bright!
