Little Bird is looking for a Website Photo Assistant to help us photograph and prepare new arrivals for our online shop!

This is a super part-time position that’s a great fit for someone who enjoys clothing, snapping photos, and detail-oriented work and who wants a small, consistent, morning schedule.

THE DETAILS:
• Tuesday–Friday, approximately 8–10am
• Starting pay $18/hour
• No weekends required
• Must be comfortable working independently
• Experience with Shopify is a plus, but we can train the right person

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
📸 Photograph our new arrivals rack for our online shop
🛍️ Upload photos and products to Shopify
🏷️ Assign categories and add any product details
✨ Make sure everything is photographed clearly and presented beautifully

We’re looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, and has a good eye for clothing and presentation. You don’t need to be a professional photographer, we’ll teach you our process.

Brands we love VOL. 1 - Hanna Andersson

A LITTLE LIFE UPDATE☀️ It’s been quite the journey since I last updated you guys on the personal side of my life. First, so many of you guys have been checking in on me (and my hubby) both via DM and when you pop in the shop and I am so grateful for that. Even though a lot of you don’t personally know me, it makes me feel loved that people care. When I opened my business, I became so focused that I stopped cultivating friendships in real life. So feeling like I have a tribe around me is an amazing feeling 🥰

Last I updated you guys, in April, my husband had finished all of his chemo sessions and he rang the bell. All we had to do was wait for the dreaded 6 week PET scan to give us the all clear that he was cancer free. Sadly, we didn’t get the all clear 😞 Unfortunately his cancer treatment was not successful and more masses appeared. He is now being seen by a new oncologist and has had to start an even more aggressive treatment plan. We are now doing in patient chemo sessions at the hospital. He just completed his third cycle today! We have a couple more cycles to go and then he will most likely be headed to the City of Hope.

I am sharing this because this does mean things will still be touch and go at the shop. I have been working hard at creating a system the last 3-4 months so that the shop can run without me if need be. There is no way I am not going to be by my husband’s side. My world got rocked the week before last when I tore my rotator cuff and legit couldn’t lift, write or drive and getting ready for our bag sale was insane! Especially with my husband in the hospital. I am so grateful to all of my last minute helpers who showed up to help me see it through. I was left flailing and realized the plan I had the last 3-4 months is nowhere near ready and I am going to have to pivot.

Sorry friends! Our buying counter will be closed this week. I had an unexpected injury to my arm and am unable to use it at this time. So we need to pause buying for the week while I heal. I will keep everyone updated, it’s my goal to be able to resume buying next week.
