Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Sunshine Social Market, which was our final market of the season. 😭 With thunderstorms in the forecast, the safety of our vendors and shoppers has to come first. After hearing from so many of our vendors and seeing some begin to drop out, we feel this is the best decision for everyone.

There will not be a rain date, since tomorrow was already our scheduled rain date.

I am SO incredibly sorry to end our season this way. I know how much time, money, preparation, and excitement goes into getting ready for a market, and I truly hate that the weather is cutting us short. 🤍

But most importantly — THANK YOU. 🥹

Thank you to every vendor who showed up, every shopper who came out, every person who shared a post, brought a friend, supported a small business, or simply cheered us on this summer.

This was my first season hosting Sunshine Social Market, and I genuinely feel like we started something so special. ☀️ I’m beyond grateful for everyone who helped make it happen, and I’m already dreaming about what the future of Sunshine Social Market could look like.

THAT’S A WRAP ON TODAY’S SUNSHINE SOCIAL MARKET!

Okay, I’m going to be totally honest… foot traffic was SLOWWW today 🥹 BUTTTT — the vendors still showed up and brought their best, which made the day fun, per usual!!! Hosting these markets is something I’ve been SO excited about, and even though today wasn’t the turnout we hoped for, I’m not giving up and i’ve learned so much along the way!! 🩷 Every market is a learning experience!!

that being said— OUR NEXT & FINAL MARKET OF THE SEASON IS SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH! Mark your calendars, tell your friends, bring your family, and PLEASE come shop small!
