At the age of 22, Michael founded The Chicago International Film Festival, one of the most prestigious events in filmdom. ATTENTION FILM FANS. We are very excited to welcome the founder of the iconic Chicago International Film Festival to the store for a book signing. Michael Kutza will be here on Saturday, April 13th from 1:00pm to 3:00pm. Michael will be autographing his memoir, STARSTRUCK: How I Magically Transformed Chicago into Hollywood for More Than Fifty Years. In 1964, at the age of 22, he brought Hollywood and the cinematic world to Chicago to celebrate film. Come meet Michael, pick up an autographed copy and chat with him to hear some great tales of Bette Davis to Martin Scorsese; Michael brought a Who's Who of the film world to town.
