🥳🥳🥳 The Pig n’ Biscuit soft open is official! Wishing them an amazing first day! We have had the pleasure of smelling their prep from across the parking lot (and may have tried a little sampling 😆😉) you are in for a treat! 🙌

TUESDAY we will do a SOFT OPENING!
7AM to 3PM
PLEASE READ THIS POST for all the details!
Here's the deal.....
🏪New location - 3620 9th St SW (but apparently some have trouble so use 3700 and look for CW Willis Family Farms)
🔥New equipment - including a state of the art Southern Pride Smoker
🖥️New Point of Sale System - shout out to Order Counter for all their help these last 2 weeks
👱♀️👨🦰New team members (bonus for us - some not so new to help train the new)
What's that mean? It means our SOFT OPENING is like an education session. For all of us. For our cashiers to continue learning our new ordering system. For our food runners to make sure they are taking the right food to the right table. For our expo to make sure they have the expo line set up in a workable and efficient manner to assist both the kitchen and the food runners. And for our kitchen team to be able to properly train those who are not new to the industry but new to our way.
I say all of that to now ask you that if and when you come, please be patient. Our goal is to teach everyone how to do everything in a manner that is consistent with our values - which includes QUALITY over everything, including speed. We want it to be right before it’s fast. So, if you’re pressed for time - skip the soft opening days.
So, here is how our location is set up. We are a WALK-UP window with OUTDOOR (covered and with lots of fans) dining. This means you will walk up to the order window (it says order above it) and stand in line to place your order. (The menu is on a tv screen but there are laminated copies in a bin under the tv!) Once you have placed your order and paid your bill, we will give you a cup to serve your own drink (unless you ordered a juice or bottled water) and you will find a seat. Don’t forget to grab utensils from the dispenser! We will give you a little plastic card with a number which you will put on your condiment caddy so we can locate you to deliver your food. We ask that you take your trash to the bin at the front of the building but NOT throw away any trays. The utensils are all a heavy-duty disposable along with some of our other serving dishes which are made for things like pancakes. If you love the food and/or the service, RING THE BELL!! Take a picture with our sign. Tag us in a post. Invite your friends.
We know we will have some bumps in the road. We will adjust on the fly as necessary. We just ask that you understand that while we are not new to this business, we are in a location that is new to us, with a set up that is new to us, with systems and some people that are...you guessed it, new to us.
In order to serve you best, we will NOT be taking call in orders until we are ready. I repeat...we will NOT be taking call in orders until we are ready. Honestly, probably won’t even answer it.
Yes, we have GF items - working on an actual menu for it but it IS indicated on the menus we posted.
CW Willis Family Farms - has been kind enough to say that our customers can park anywhere there is a space available. You are not restricted to the ones directly in front of our building.
We can't wait to see you ALL. Just please, not at the same time. Kidding....kind of. 🙂
