585-402-0374 A T-shirt quilt is made from T-shirts that are cut into squares of the same size - (12 1/2") and set in a grid pattern. The squares are then sewn together in rows with 2 inch sashing fabric between the squares and between the rows. A 2 inch border of fabric is sewn around the outside. Then the quilt top is sandwiched with a layer of cotton batting and backing fabric, placed on my long arm machine and quilted with an all over, edge to edge design.
