Happy Small Business Saturday! 🧡🎱
Bringing Iconic to Victoria has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
This has NEVER been about just clothes.
It’s a movement. A culture. And a community that connects each of us through fashion.

I was 20 when I started Iconic, just as a Depop shop that blew up after a few TikToks. We hit the Top 50 fast, selling what we all know now as “Y2K.” 😆
A year later, an opportunity presented itself at a new flea market called 361 Pop Up Shops. Tbh I didn’t know if anyone would show up, but I took the chance anyway. I just wanted something different for Victoria. That’s where I met the customers who became family. I realized like dang Iconic could work. It was something people looked forward to every week. Something that made me happy.
Fall 2022 changed everything for me. LITERALLY. I had a gut feeling not to drive out of town for inventory, so I went downtown instead just to cruise. That instinct led me to the building we now know as Iconic.☺️ I texted the landlord and signed the lease the next day.
I maxed out every credit card I had to make this happen. I had no idea what it truly cost to run a business. But that’s lowkey a story another day.
Three years later, we are still here. We have grown. We have adapted. We are now a team of three with a vision to take Iconic further than I ever imagined. Iconic is a legacy in progress, and I hope it reminds every young entrepreneur to go out and make it happen.
Always remember if the market does not exist, build it. If the customers are not there, go out and meet them. Create with intention. Serve your community. Keep God at the center. Find a few people you can trust. And everything else will unfold.
