What a great way to continue to honor Bother Gary. Exactly how he would want it - giving back to the community to make his community a better place.

💙 Brother Gary spent his life investing in others. Now, his legacy will help invest in generations to come.

In lieu of flowers, Brother Gary Moses' family has partnered with Victoria College to establish a scholarship in his memory—honoring two things that meant so much to him: education and service to others.

Our community is also invited to come together to celebrate Brother Gary's extraordinary life at his upcoming celebration of life.

It's payday for a lot of us. 💵

Before that money disappears into bills and a giant online cart you won't remember in a week — pause for one second.

What if just a little of it stayed home?

Not more than you'd spend anyway. Just spent here instead of there. The taco place instead of the drive-thru chain. The local boutique instead of the big box. The family bakery instead of the grocery-store shelf.

Same dollars. Same you. Completely different impact.

When you spend $20 at a local business, that money doesn't fly off to a headquarters in another state. It stays in Victoria — it makes payroll for your neighbor, it keeps a family's lights on, it comes back around to this community.

So this payday, be intentional. Pick one local business and let some of your hard-earned money land right here at home. Post on social media and share with your family and friends.

Keep the buzz going, this is working. It's going to take time. But it's working!

Save Small Business. Shop Twice.

This one right here. As a small business owner, this says it all. The struggle is real but Jesus sees us through every time. Our business has been in Victoria since the mid 1960s. I started here 33 years ago and purchased the business in 2004. We have seen a lot of businesses come and go and many times wondered if we were going to make it ourselves. Every time God provided.

Like most small businesses, we try to keep our pricing competitive. Taxes, insurances, tariffs, payroll, utilities, etc make it harder each day to turn even the slightest of profits. Many chose to buy online to save a few dollars, then knock on our doors for sponsorship and fundraisers.
How can you help?
Like the post from Vela Farms says - if are a once a month patron of our businesses spending $20 just come one more time per month. This helps us to keep costs down. Be intentional about where you shop.

We are so thankful for each customer through the years who have become friends. We pray for you, we laugh with you, we cry with you, we see your families grow up. We thank you for allowing us to be a part of that. Continue to shop local, shop small and shop intentionally.
