⚡️UPDATE: WE NOW HAVE POWER ⚡️AND ONLY A FEW SHELVES LEFT

Howdy everyone! We have bad news and we have book news:

Bad news - we currently don’t have power due to utility work in the area

BOOK NEWS - now’s your chance to take home some Redbird history! We have shelves for sale from our recent renovations. They are priced as marked and we can’t take holds. Once they’re gone they’re gone. We can take cash or card for them

We will let yall know when we are back in business power-wise 🤗

TEMPORARY TRADE-IN & DONATION LIMIT 📚

Y’all have been keeping us BUSY! Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve received thousands of books, and we are incredibly grateful that so many of you think of Redbird Books when it’s time to find your books a new home. ❤️

However, between training a new employee and working through the huge amount of books we’ve already received, we are officially running out of room. 😅

For the time being, we are limiting trade-ins and book donations to ONE BOX per person.

Please do not bring multiple boxes at this time. We simply don’t have the space to store them while we work through our current backlog.

This is temporary! Once we get caught up and reclaim some breathing room in the store, we’ll let everyone know when we can accept larger quantities again.

Thank you for understanding, for being patient with us, and—most importantly—for keeping used books in circulation. 📚❤️

The cats are hard at work continuing our renovations. Thank y’all for your patience! We will resume regular hours next week. If anything changes we’ll let you know!

UPDATE: all the shelves have gone to new homes!

We have free bookshelves outside the store for TODAY ONLY!!

Must be able to pick them up and load them (because the cats aren’t strong enough). 🐱

We cannot hold them for people, so once they’re gone, they’re gone!

As of right now we will be closed TODAY 8/6 and resume usual hours on Friday

We currently plan to open on Saturday, but if that changes we will let yall know!
