The old dam on the Ohoopee up from Hwy 56. This dam powered a gristmill and also supplied electricity to the surrounding area back in the day.

I was able to do some fishing with Allison this weekend so we headed to the Ogeechee. The river that rarely disappoints.

It’s been hard for me to get away from work and catch the Ohoopee right this year. Well today was the day. Took the Warrior boat out and beat them up pretty good. Not many mature redbreast but the bluegill were more than willing.

Finally got to try out my new Warrior One man boat I picked up from Jason at Johnson Used Cars and Motorsports in Dublin, Ga.
I was not disappointed even though it does put you eye to eye with the gators.
