🍂 The Seasons Are Changing 🍂

The first hints of fall don’t always arrive with colorful leaves.

Sometimes they come in the sound of crows calling overhead. Sometimes in the sight of little black birds gathering together across a lawn. Sometimes it’s the unmistakable honking of geese flying overhead at daybreak, reminding us that another season is on its way.

God has woven reminders of His perfect timing throughout creation. The birds know when it’s time to gather. They know when it’s time to prepare. They know when it’s time to move on.

Perhaps that’s why these quiet changes stir something deep within us. They remind us that our lives also move through seasons—times of planting and harvesting, waiting and rejoicing, grieving and healing, beginning and letting go.

We don’t always choose the season we’re in, but we can trust the One who appointed it.

If you’re in a season of waiting, don’t lose heart. If you’re in a season of abundance, give thanks. If you’re walking through sorrow, remember that it is not forever. The God who changes the seasons remains faithful through every one of them.

“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted… He hath made every thing beautiful in his time.”

As you hear the birds this week and notice the subtle signs of summer giving way to fall, take a moment to thank God for the season you’re in. He has not forgotten you. He is working His purposes—even when the changes are quiet.

Every season has a purpose. Every season has a faithful God.
