Pennywise Thrift Shop Pennywise - where bargains turn into blessings! The Pennywise Thrift Shop was created in 1961 as a fund raising endeavor of Church of the Holy Comforter.

For over 50 years the shop has been recycling and selling donated and consigned affordable, lightly used clothing and household items from and to the Vienna community. The proceeds from the shop fund a variety of ministries and activities within our parish as well as numerous community charitable programs and services. The success and popularity of Pennywise is directly attributed to the many volunteers from Holy Comforter who work in the shop and to the generous donations from the community.
