Our Truffle of the Month for April is a milk chocolate Strawberry Truffle, but for our 40th Anniversary collection, we switched it up and added a dark twist.

The Dark Chocolate Strawberry Truffle is filled with a bright ganache made with strawberry purée, white chocolate, and ruby chocolate. Ruby chocolate is a “new” variety of chocolate with a beautiful natural pink color and a fruity flavor that makes the strawberry really pop.
The heart-shaped dark chocolate shell brings the whole piece together.

We love how this one turned out and we hope you do too!

Sometimes simple is better.

Caramel Crunch Bark is made with our milk, dark, or white chocolate and a generous handful of crunchy caramel flakes. That’s it.

We were sure the milk chocolate bark would be the favorite, but you all seem to love the white chocolate way more than we expected!

Stop in and take home a half pound bag or a whole one pound box of bark before these limited time treats are gone.

Here’s a fun throwback - our first shop on Cypress Street in Parkersburg.

There were only two to four-ish parking spots (depending on your definition of a parking spot), and they were usually full.
We outgrew this little space in just a few years and moved to our current Vienna location in 1990.

40 years later, we’re still making handcrafted chocolates right here in West Virginia.

One of our limited edition chocolates for our 40th Anniversary is a new take on one of our most popular flavors:

Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels.

We blend JQ Dickinson sea salt, locally harvested here in West Virginia, with our buttery, golden caramel to make a smooth, liquid center. We then cover each caramel in our dark chocolate and finish it with a generous pinch of the same sea salt.

If you love our Milk Chocolate Sea Salt Caramels, do yourself a favor and pick up a four piece box of this new dark chocolate version before they’re gone!

This year mark 40 years of Holl’s Swiss Chocolates and we’re celebrating with some new limited edition chocolate treats!

We made one small batch of each new chocolate and they’ll be available in Vienna, at the Capitol Market, and online at www.holls.com until they sell out.
