I have a custom order batch of Stay Salty to make for Valentine’s Day. I figured I’d make a second batch for anyone interested. They will be poured and dipped next weekend and ready for pick up the week of the 9th. Let me know if you want a box and I’ll make a batch if there’s enough interest.

Peanut Butter Jelly Time Caramels: Beta Version

Cons: The peanut butter doesn’t coat as well as the chocolate I’m used to, so I need more practice dipping with it. And, as always, I was too conservative with the flavoring, so the raspberry caramel is extremely subtle. It’s too subtle for my taste, so I plan on doubling the liqueur for the next batch.

Pros: the texture was not affected and they retained their usual soft bite. The flavor of the caramel is still yummy and the peanut butter coating is absolutely delicious. Once I figure out how amp up the raspberry appropriately, these will be fabulous.
